YTKara Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the YTKara karaoke application at holicede.com/karaoke, operated by HOLICEDE. The site-wide HOLICEDE Terms of Service also apply. Last updated: September 29, 2026.
1 // Agreement & YouTube Terms
YTKara uses YouTube API Services for karaoke song search and video playback. By using YTKara, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Your use of YTKara is also subject to the YTKara Privacy Policy, which you must review and accept before using YTKara's features.
If you do not agree to these terms, the YTKara Privacy Policy, or the YouTube Terms of Service, do not use YTKara.
2 // The Service
YTKara Private (C$59.99 CAD lifetime license, sold via WooCommerce/Stripe on holicede.com) grants a host access to proprietary software: private PIN/QR party rooms, zero-account guest remotes, shared playback controls, live singer rotation, a 16:9 TV Stage display, and host moderation tools.
Content distinction: the license covers software functionality only. It does not sell, license, or convey any rights to YouTube videos, sound recordings, or musical compositions. All playback is streamed directly from YouTube via the official embedded player, and availability is controlled by YouTube and the content owners.
3 // Acceptable Use
- Rooms are for private parties; do not use YTKara for public broadcast, piracy, or infringing distribution.
- Do not attempt to download, record, rip, or capture YouTube streams through or alongside YTKara.
- Do not probe, exploit, or abuse the service, its APIs, room PINs, or rate limits.
- Room PINs grant party access — share them only with people you invite.
- Hosts are responsible for moderating their room (approve/reject/remove requests, end the party).
4 // Availability & Liability
YTKara is provided "as is". Karaoke playback depends on YouTube availability and each video's embeddability and region restrictions, which are outside HOLICEDE's control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOLICEDE is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the service.
5 // Intellectual Property
YTKara's software, design, and branding are the property of HOLICEDE. YouTube™ is a trademark of Google LLC; YTKara is not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with Google LLC or YouTube.
